The team

The people behind the prediction engine.

Our edge is the science, and the science exists because of these people. Founders, engineers and applied researchers building a forecasting engine that reasons about cause and effect from a fraction of the data conventional AI needs.
TUBR was started in 2020 to answer a single uncomfortable question: why are predictive tools, in 2020, still so bad at the operational problems that matter? The team we've built since is the answer — a mix of data product, applied science and engineering, picked specifically for the shape of the problem we're trying to solve.

Dash Tabor

Founder, CEO
Dash has extensive experience across data product management and marketing. She's worked with companies of all different sizes and has a passion for building data propositions that enable companies to innovate and propel forward against the competition.

Rory Gibson

Chief Technology Officer
Rory brings over 20 years of experience as a developer, architect, founder and CTO, spanning fintech, big data, marketing technology, enterprise software and the public sector. As TUBR's Chief Technology Officer he owns the architecture behind the prediction engine and the team that builds it, turning the underlying science into a product partners can embed and depend on.
He stays close enough to the code to know what works and what doesn't, guided by a conviction earned over two decades of scaling teams: the hardest problems are the people problems — solve those, and the rest follows.

Martin Alcock

Chief Product Officer
Martin brings 20 years of designing, building and shipping digital products — and leading the teams that deliver them. He's grown platforms to tens of millions of users, including one of the UK's largest health information services at 20M+ monthly visits, and has taken brands, design systems and products from a blank page to launch across rail, manufacturing, retail and healthcare.
As TUBR's Chief Product Officer he owns how the forecasting engine reaches the people who rely on it — turning hard science into a product that feels effortless.

Andrew Scarff, PhD

Lead Data Scientist
Since joining TUBR in August 2023, Andrew has led the data science programme, taking core research through to deployable, commercially relevant products. His work spans foundational technology to full stack product development.
Prior to TUBR, he worked in experimental particle physics research for almost a decade — building the hardware, running operations, and analysing and reporting the data, along with several leadership roles in international collaborations.

Sagar RP

ML Engineer
Sagar joined TUBR in July 2022 as the company's very first employee, taking on the vital responsibility of building its engineering and machine learning infrastructure from the ground up. Since then, he has built integrations with multiple POS systems, enabling wider product reach and seamless onboarding for customers.
Sagar holds an integrated B.Tech-M.Tech in Geophysical Technology; his deep expertise in physics-based modelling provided the exact analytical foundation TUBR needed to pioneer its predictive solutions.

Eric Keosky-Smith

Director, North America
Eric is a senior executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in Europe, Silicon Valley, and now resides in the American Southwest. He's launched products and managed distribution channels for Intel, worked on digital strategy for the U-Haul CEO (one of the largest retailers in the U.S.), and held growth, business development and marketing roles across a variety of SaaS and hospitality-focused companies along the way. He helped open one of the first fast-food French cafés in the US while getting his degree at The George Washington University in D.C.

Jess Hamblin

Business Development, US
Jess drives TUBR's business development across the US, building the relationships that bring the company's forecasting engine to hospitality operators throughout the market. She works alongside venues, partners and POS providers to help operators see what's coming — turning TUBR's predictions into staffing, scheduling and planning decisions they can act on with confidence.

Jake Bryan

Growth Manager
Jake helps hospitality businesses make smarter operational decisions through predictive analytics and AI-powered forecasting.
His role focuses on driving commercial growth by building relationships with hospitality operators, partners and POS providers, identifying new market opportunities, and helping venues understand how data can improve staffing, scheduling and profitability.
Jake is responsible for expanding TUBR's presence within the hospitality sector, supporting customer success, and helping operators move from reactive decision-making to proactive, data-driven planning.

A note on the patent and the underlying research.

A note on the patent and the underlying research. TUBR's engine is built on a proprietary approach to Physics-Informed AI, with a proprietary modelling methodology at its core. It's what lets us reason about cause and effect from a fraction of the data conventional AI needs.
